Good times, Good times

1/16/11
I can not remember the last time I had this many empty beer bottles on my counter. I took this picture at 12:15 AM after the Flohrs left from game night (reference 1/15). Talk about letting your hair down!

Game night

1/15/11
Game night with the Flohr Family. What a good time! We taught another family how to play dominos, Mexican Train. And no, it is not a cultural thing (Marie)....

Big Boy shoes

1/14/11
Today was a sad day. Emilio foot has grown again. He is now a size one. Which is significant! He is no longer shopping in the little boy section. Nope. He has graduated to the big boys. *sniff, sniff*. But hey, I got an excellent deal on these! LoL so all was not loss......

Too many toys.

1/13/11
Welcome to our playroom. Emilio has been sick and we have not left the house in 2 days. Today he felt better. So he decided to set up all toys. Look at his carefully constructed city! He has the island of soder, radiator springs and invited all of Toy story to watch and join in the square. Maybe he will be an architect. (sigh) More likely he will be an engineer but I am hoping for Civil Engineer that builds cities......

Snow day.

1/12/11
Ugh. I hate snow. Today was our first big snowfall. Did I mention I hate snow?? I have nothing nice to say about today. ;(

Snowman Art

1/11/11
Today I went to pick Emilio up from school and he raced to his mailbox and pulled this out. He says "Mama, look at what made! It's a Snowman. I made it ALLLLL by myself. Just for you, Mama". My heart melted. He is a sweet boy. I am so going to frame this and use as part of my Christmas decorations, every year. <3

Cleaning House

1/10/11
Yes, I know. I took down the tree on the second. But I didn't get a chance to get all my Christmas decorations put away. Sue me! Look at all that stuff.......isn't it pretty? Sadly, it is put away for next year......

Cozy, Cozy, Cozy

1/9/11
You will see alot of pictures this year of new things going up around the house. This little beauty was put above our bed. The candles in it are all colors but eventually when we paint and decide on a color scheme, the candles will be all one color...

Pizza Bread

1/8/11
Shoot em up. That is what my Hubba Hubba did today. He went to the shooting range with my good friends husband and afterwards said good friend made THIS. To die for. We had a good day today. I am very happy to have made such good friends in the Burg. I remember moving here thinking "I will never have any friends". Boy, did I prove myself wrong!! Thank you Arnett Family for a wonderful day :) (Good friend is also a fellow Michigander...just sayin)

MOMS Club

1/7/11
Yum. I am the treasurer of our MOMS club. Today our meeting at my house. I made this Yummy-ness. A blueberry cobbler compliments of Pioneer Woman Cookbook.

My shy boy

1/6/11
This is Emilio. Normally loves to be in front of the camera but today was sick of Mama being all up in his grill. Oh well.

Slacker

1/5/11
So today, call me a slacker. I did not take a picture today. So instead I shared a picture of my family that I love so much and the reason why I missed a day! Sometimes they get in the way of me being able to do what I want to do ;) It's ok. Aren't they cute?

Home is where your story begins

1/4/11
One goal (of many) for 2011 is to "cozy" up the house. We moved into our house in July of 2010 and this is only the second thing we have hung up! Candles to follow.....Thank you to S for helping me pick them out....

Dinner is served

1/3/11
You see a sink full of dishes. I see a loving Hubba Hubba that cooked dinner for me. A rare occasion but love it none the less <3

O Christmas Tree

1/2/11
Today was a bittersweet day. We drove home from Michigan. (yes, The burg is not home) to unpack and take down a very dead tree. Happy New Year :) You were my first real Christmas tree and you O what a good tree you were.

Cousins

1/1/11 Well here we go! My attempt to track 365 days of our life here in the Burg. Pretty ironic that the first picture I took was in Michigan :) But I couldn't pass up the chance to 1. use my new camera (that my wonderful Hubba Hubba got me) or 2. take a picture of these cute cute faces!
